“Eat. Sleep. Dance. Make Content. Repeat.” Introducing the #premiumTok TikTok creators, the Gnomeboys.

Bringing you a blend of hard-hitting, trendy dances and Academy Award-winning skits, seasoned with humour and an effortless cool vibe, the Gnomeboys have blessed thousands of TikTok users' FYPs. More than just content creators, they are a group of friends who originally met years ago through their shared passion for dancing. We recently had the chance to sit down with Mikee, Jamane, and Chris, delving into their journey, exploring what inspires them, and discovering their visions for the future, both as the Gnomeboys and as individual creative artists.

How did the Gnomeboys start? What inspired it?

We’ve been making skits together for quite a long time now, probably since we met! Gnomeboys became a ‘thing’ when we started TikTok. COVID kinda motivated us to form something and make content online. TikTok just happened to be the spot.

What was the origin of the name?

One of our friends made the name in high school. He's a graphic designer. His name's Nathan. It was kinda just an idea for a brand name, and then when TikTok came along and we officially formed our group, we just kinda knew that was the name to go with.

How did you guys all meet each other?

We met at KSTAR Studios. We met dancing when we were 15, 16 years old.

Where do you draw the most inspiration from?

Our childhood heroes like Jackie Chan, Manny Pacquiao, and cartoons like SpongeBob and Powerpuff Girls. I feel like we draw a lot of inspiration from each other's humor, like how we make each other laugh.

When you're not dancing and making content, what are you doing?

Sleeping! Eat. Sleep. Dance. Make content. Repeat.

What made you want to create and entertain people?

I think we just found our content entertaining for ourselves; we made things that we found funny, and eventually started putting them out there. People found it entertaining, so we just ran with it.

What does the future look like for you guys?

Hopefully, we'll branch out into short films and similar projects. I think Gnomeboys, for us, is just a group where we can create whatever we want, so whatever that leads to, we're open to it! We just want to take over the world, really!

As a group, what's been your biggest 'pinch-me' moment?

When MR. BEAST commented on our video! Mr Beast! Come on… Let’s collab, man!

Do you remember your first viral 'blow up' moment on TikTok?

Yes! T-PAIN was our first viral blow-up moment!

What are you all working on individually?

Chris: I've been working on some art recently, for most of this year, so hopefully an exhibition at the end of the year or at the start of next year.

Jamane: If you're looking to learn how to dance, I’m gonna be teaching some open classes over the course of the rest of this year.

Mikey: I also teach some dance classes so if you’re trying to learn it, pull up!
